SOURCES OF STEM CELLS

Academically speaking, stem cells can be found everywhere in our body.
The most common sources are bone marrow, umbilical cord blood and cord tissue. Obtaining stem cells from the bone marrow is a painful procedure done in a hospital under general anaesthesia and could lead to significant post operative complications.
Teeth are the newest source of stem cells. It is easy to obtain stem cells from teeth. They can be cryo preserved for as long as required.
